Amy and Kendra have been partnering together in various ways for several years. It just felt natural when the opportunity to team up came to us through divine alignment in 2024. We shared a common dream to have our own healing spaces near the water, an element we both find so healing and transformative, and this space gave us the opportunity to have just that- together!
Our logo embodies our mission and all that we strive to offer in service to our clients and our community.
Healing- The heart represents our approach to all that we do as we support you through your healing journey. We lead with a pure heart, unconditional love and compassion and green and pink are both associated with the Heart Chakra.
Expansion- The circle represents the notion of totality, wholeness, original perfection, the Self, the infinite, eternity, timelessness, all cyclic movement, and Source. Many of us here on this planet today are expanding and growing into higher versions of ourselves, strengthening our connection to our higher, multi-dimensional selves and bringing in more aligned ways of living on the path of ascension.
Community Connection- the Seed of Life reflects how all of life is interconnected and that life is divine creation. The Seed of Life is sacred geometry that is found throughout nature. We bring our community together with the knowledge that we are all connected, we are divine, and we are all a part of nature.
The name Ascending Hearts Wellness brings this all together!

BSN, RN, HNB-BC- Holistic Nurse, Co-Founder, Usui Reiki Master - Teacher, Shamanic Reiki Master, Cacao Guide
I'm Amy and I am a native of Rhode Island. I am a Registered Nurse with a national board certification in holistic health. I am a Usui Reiki Master-Teacher honored to be a student of Gladys Ellen. I am also a Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner honored to be a student of Marg Tudino. I have completed a mentorship working with ceremonial cacao with Alexa Iya Soro and a 10 week in depth cacao training with The Mayan Wisdom Project.
From a young age, I have been called to the energetic art of channeling and it has always been a natural part of my Reiki and cacao offerings. I have also completed a training in this art and now offer channeled reading sessions. From my spiritual perspective, channeling is the therapeutic practice of communicating with a higher consciousness or wiser energies to provide deeply loving guidance and support. I believe that channeling for our highest good is an important part of healing the collective in these dynamic times. I have worked closely with Reiki and ceremonial cacao in my own journey of remembering my divine essence and have felt called to share this medicine with others. My goal in each event is to create a sacred container allowing you to relax into a shift in perception away from false beliefs about our inherent worth and towards a deeper knowing of our collective alignment with pure Love. I believe in the power of healing in community. I host classes and events all around RI and parts of MA.
I also currently work as an Integrative Therapy Nurse at a hospital in Rhode Island. In this program, I provide holistic therapies to patients admitted to all units of the hospital and in the ER. This includes Reiki, massage, meditation, breathwork, progressive muscle relaxation and guided imagery. I also provide holistic support to hospital staff. These therapies are aimed at reducing anxiety, pain, depression, insomnia and fatigue. I am also proud to help support coordination of Heal the Healers Now, a program that provides training in Transcendental Meditation to decrease healthcare worker burnout during the pandemic. I am here to serve with BIG LOVE and I very much look forward to doing the healing work with you.
Co-Founder, Certified Sound Healer, Usui & Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner
I'm Kendra and I was born in California and have lived in many places including the Bay Area, LA, and San Diego, CA, Scottsdale, AZ, and Coral Springs and Orlando, FL, and now I've finally settled down in Rhode Island. I'm a wife and mom to two boys. I've always been interested in people's behavior and emotions, and received my BS degree in Psychology and my MS degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at the University of Central Florida. For many years I have also been passionate about holistic healing and wellness practices with the firm belief that we all have the ability to heal ourselves using nature and food as medicine. In 2022, I experienced a rapid spiritual awakening and felt called to complete Usui Reiki Level I & II with Jessica Xavier and Jax Carr and a 3-month course in Sound Healing with Tuning Forks, and then followed that with a 12-month Practitioner Level II Certification in Sound Healing with Tuning Forks from he . For this program I conducted over 40 client case study sessions! In 2024, I completed my Reiki Master Practitioner Certification with Amy Schenck followed by Shamanic Reiki Master Practitioner Certification with Marg Tudino. I have so much love and gratitude for these teachers and mentors who have been a part of my journey.
For the past 20 years, I have also served others through my career in recruiting and talent management- training and facilitating group workshops on topics such as effective leadership, communication, and identifying & working with different behavioral styles, just to name a few. Over the years I've also informally studied several other natural healing tools and practices such as other sound healing instruments, flower essences, solar, structured, and sacred water, crystals, essential oils, herbs, and more.
I find it so exciting to pull from all these various experiences, teachings, and tools to tailor my sessions to your needs in a variety of ways. I consider myself a lifelong student with a desire for continuous expansion and evolution. It lights me up and fills me with joy working with others and assisting them on their own personal paths of evolution and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of your journey. We are all able to heal ourselves, sometimes we just need someone to walk alongside us, witnessing and holding space for us. It's my honor to be that person for you. As a resident of the East Bay, I'm so honored to serve and share my heart with the East Bay and surrounding areas in this way.
